A New Page is a short silent film telling the story of a writer and his struggle between work and family. The short, shot on 35mm film, was written and directed by Colton Davie, edited by Mitchell Vaughan, and scored by Matt Wheeler.

Striving After Wind (2006)

Striving After Wind, produced in collaboration with Mitchell Vaughan and featuring an original score by Matt Wheeler, was created as an entry to DVinfo.net's DV Challenge #6. It is a video short telling the story of a young boy who is faced with the difficult choice of work versus play. Winner of the Best Young Videographer category in the 2006 Videomaker/Sony Short Video Contest, it was also selected as a finalist in the DV Challenge and was accepted for screening at the 2006 Christian WYSIWYG Film Festival.

A short form documentary, Motocross: A Physical Education depicts the hard work that goes into racing motocross, particularly with the goal of turning pro. It was selected for screening at the 2007 Show Off Your Short Film Festival.

Bluestate - Tolerance For All was Openlight Studios' first major project as well as winner of the Young Filmmaker's Award at the 2005 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. This hour long drama depicts an America where tolerance has been mandated by law and truth is whatever one wants it to be.
